One of the things I totally love about Sweden is actually… it’s climate. That might sound weird (especially to Swedes), but it’s really true.

Sure… the winters are cold. Very cold. Still, cold in a manageable way I think. (I have to admit, I’ve never been all the way up north during the wintertime). The summers, while being short, are usually great. Lots of sun, and not too warm (with not too warm I mean: around 25 degrees C).

However, the last couple of days are very unswedish (osvenskt). Temperatures are rising above 27, going to 30 on Friday. That’s too much! My apartment has the sun on it for the bigger part of the day so it’s close to a bastu (Swedish sauna) right now.

Adding to that it really doesn’t get dark during this time of the year it means also that it doesn’t really cool –that- much down during the night (okay, it does cool down a bit, but not as much as I would like it do to).

Last Saturday I went out into town. Went into a place when it still was light (around 23 o’clock) and came out around 04.30… and it still (again) was light… confusing!

Nevertheless: I just love this place!
