Since we started monitoring where people come from when they download Doppler we get some interesting data.

This is the top ten list of countries downloading Doppler 2.0.0.3 (the currently released version)

  5. Sweden
  6. Australia
  7. Germany
  8. Canada
  9. Japan
  10. France

I’m not too surprised when looking at the number 1 and 2 in the list. However, Spain I didn’t really expect. When looking at the referrers in our logs we do see considerable traffic coming from the Swedish public radio website. Which shows that Swedish public radio is actively promoting podcasting.

The top ten for downloading countries of Doppler 3.0 beta 2 is:

In this list Australia and Japan are gone. Maybe they like playing safe

Time to start translating Doppler into Spanish and French (currently Doppler 3 beta 2 is available in English, Dutch and Swedish).
