A very smooth install, allowing me to run Office 2007 side by side by Office 2003. Nice. This will take some days (weeks?) to check out what’s new in there. Started Outlook 2007 things looked okay to me. Everything was migrated as it should. . Outlook is the only tool in the package that you cannot run side by side with the older version, so if you decide to install Outlook 2007 the installation package will uninstall Outlook 2003.
The new ribbon interface in Word is nice. Took me around 5 minutes to get used to, and the live preview feature is really nice. Instant feedback! That’s what I like.
I’m writing this post from within Word too. Nice that they added a blog post feature (as long as your blog software supports some required API’s.). Interesting times ahead!
